The
Basic FreezeAlarm provides the most cost effective method of
protecting your home or property from damaging frozen pipes.
This model calls out to one telephone number of your choice when
the temperature drops below 45°F (7°C). Those answering the call
will hear an alarm tone. It will continue to call until you call
back to the unit and discontinue the call-out feature.
Unit resets when temperature rises above 45° again. Unit operates
on a 9 volt alkaline battery (not included) and can utilize an
existing standard, single telephone line.
NOTE: This model is not recommended if you must have an
answering machine or voice mail at the monitored location. Also, the
alarm tone may not record on some answering machines or voice mail
systems at the call-to location. Answering machines and voice
mail does not, in any way affect the operation of the unit and
prevent or stop it from calling out. |
